One of One.
In 1985, Tiny Belgian Gaston Rahier rides a giant and busted BMW to his second Paris-Dakar rally victory. Against all odds and after crashing his R80G/S during a media appearance, without a spare bike, he rode the damaged BMW across the African continent to victory. Almost a miracle.
It was one of those incredible races which gave us the urge to make a "road book" to install on our Yamaha PW50, riding across the woods behind the family house, pretending we were lost.
If you fancy some old footage of Gaston Rahier riding in the desert: is a one-off vintage US Army helmet bag in new condition with rare patches we collected over the years.
Patches: genuine BMW, Elf, Playboy, Michelin, and Dakar Rally. Angry Lane patch on the back.
Handmade, hand-dyed "Remove before flight" leather tag.
Size is 50 x 50 cm / 19 x 19 inches
All one-off products are final sale.
